    STEM Citizen Science Scholars

    The STEM Citizen Science Scholars Program is designed for undergraduate students in biology, biochemistry, computer science, cybersecurity, engineering, information technology, or neuroscience majors.  Applicants must demonstrate financial need and academic potential in their chosen field.  Award amounts are available up to $10,000 per year for four years in scholarship funds, based on financial need.

    To be accepted into the program, first-year students must:

    • Declare biology, biochemistry, computer science, cybersecurity, engineering, information technology, or neuroscience as their major
    • Have a high school grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above
    • Demonstrate financial need (PELL eligibility) as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
    • Demonstrate academic potential in their chosen field
